The Yemen Civil Society Pavilion at the Second Global Summit on Social Development in Doha was honored by the visit of:
H.E. Dr. Waed Abdullah Buthib, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation,
H.E. Ambassador Rajeh Badi, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the State of Qatar,
H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Saadi, Yemen’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
They were received by representatives of Yemeni civil society organizations, including Mr. Abdulraouf Al-Yousfi, Chairman of the Spirit of Giving Foundation for Development and Education, where they were briefed on community initiatives and projects implemented by Yemeni organizations aimed at promoting community empowerment and improving livelihoods.
This visit comes within the framework of supporting civil society institutions in building effective development partnerships and emphasizing the pivotal role of civil society in achieving sustainable social development.
